Middle East War Spreads Across Region as Countries Face Missile Strikes and Closures
War in Middle East Impacts Multiple Countries
The expanding war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States is spreading across the Middle East and nearby regions. Several countries have reported missile attacks, drone strikes, injuries, and major disruptions.
The conflict began after a joint U.S.–Israel strike on Iran, which triggered retaliation from Iran. Since then, missiles and drones have been launched across different parts of the region.
Iran
Iran has suffered the heaviest damage so far, with more than 1,200 deaths reported. Airstrikes have hit many cities including Tehran and Kermanshah, damaging buildings, hospitals, and infrastructure. Iran’s airspace has been completely closed.
Israel and Palestinian Territories
Iranian missiles have struck several areas in Israel, damaging buildings in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Beit Shemesh. At least 11 civilians have been killed, and the country has also closed its airspace.
Lebanon
Israeli strikes targeting Hezbollah positions in Lebanon have killed over 200 people and injured hundreds. Large numbers of residents have been displaced, especially around Beirut.
Gulf Countries
Several Gulf nations including Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia have faced drone and missile attacks. Some embassies and oil facilities have been damaged, while air defense systems have intercepted many incoming threats.
Other Countries Affected
Missile debris and attacks have also impacted Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. Shipping routes such as the Strait of Hormuz have been disrupted, affecting global oil supply and trade.
Global Impact
Air travel across much of the region has been suspended, with many airports closing their airspace. Governments around the world are arranging evacuation flights to bring their citizens home safely.
There are currently no signs that the conflict will slow down, as fighting continues and tensions remain extremely high across the region.
